The Denis Miki Foundation (DMF) is delighted to introduce our newest cohort of Educational and Professional Interns! These dynamic individuals have joined us to contribute their skills, creativity, and passion to our mission of empowering youth and communities through education, leadership, and sustainable development. These bright, highly skilled and passionate individuals bring fresh perspectives, diverse skills, and a shared commitment to our mission of supporting the empowerment and development of communities and vulnerable people through sustainable development initiatives like empowering underserved communities through education, health and advocacy for poverty alleviation.

Over the next two months, our interns will engage in hands-on experiences and work across various departments, including Program Development, Education & Mentorship, Youth Leadership & Advocacy, Community Development Programs, Communications & Digital Media, Fundraising and Partnerships; contributing their talents to key projects and initiatives. Their energy, enthusiasm, fresh perspectives and dedication will undoubtedly help us advance our goals and create meaningful impact.

We will be sharing the profiles of each intern within the next few days and we encourage everyone at DMF including our friends and supporters to extend a warm welcome and offer guidance as they settle in. Their growth and learning are integral to our collective success, and we look forward to the fresh ideas they’ll bring to the table.

A big thank you to our partner; the African Career Networks (ACN) who places these skilled individuals at our organization. The Interns who are Mastercard Foundation Scholars and or African Leadership Academy Alumni are supported by ACN. ACN for more than a decade has been accelerating career pathways and at DMF we are proud of our partnership and collaboration to build leaders and transform communities.

We invite our entire #DMFCommunity—partners, volunteers, and supporters—to join us in giving them a warm welcome! Your mentorship and collaboration will help shape their journey as they grow into the next generation of change-makers.

We are thrilled to welcome our newest cohort of interns who have joined the Denis Miki Foundation (DMF) team! Here’s to a productive and inspiring internship journey ahead!

Welcome aboard, team!
